About

Hey there! My name is Dot. If you run around the DFW area you may have passed me by.

Up until about eight years ago I. Hated. Running. As it usually begins, all it took was one 5K and I was hooked. Oh, then there was peer pressure. But that’s what friends are made for: to test, tempt, and encourage you to be greater.

I'm not the most awesome of runner. In fact, I'm kind of slow and still learning gobs. But, I'm getting better.

So about me?

Stats: runner, awesome, half marathoner, marathoner, open book, slow reader, daydreamer, wanna-be traveler, awkward, a professional...

Likes: running, rock / punk rock concerts, learning something new every day, hanging out/running with friends ...

Loves: running, friends and family, my boyfriend Fiance Husband (known here as M, MS, or Chef), coffee, baseball, laughter, conversation, pizza, ice cream/froyo, fajitas, movies, music (punk is a fav), Pinterest, surfing the Internet, chocolate, craft stores, office supply stores, sports stores, the finish line, a good sweat (aka workout), Chinese food, vegetables (I actually drool over roasted veggies!), Converse shoes...

Dislikes: running, the unknown, disappointments, snakes, spiders, body image, making mistakes, black toenails...

I love the small things in life and hope to share some of them with you. I constantly try to see the bigger picture too – an on-going battle!

Thanks for visiting my blog. I hope you come back!
